Types Of Fishing of Fishing
There are numerous fishing types on various mediums like the sea, lakes, canals and rivers. Obviously the type of fishing you predominantly use is pretty much a matter of personal preference and most keen fisherman will try several variations until they find the right one for them. Take my preference for float fishing, I like to sit patiently relaxing and let all the stresses of the working week flow away. I tried fly fishing but found the constant action was not was I was looking for from fishing. As for sea fishing definitely not my idea of fun although I did enjoy Marlin fishing as I got a great tan too!
Fly fishing is commonly used to catch salmon and trout. Many people think the name comes from continually casting out the line and then reeling it back in. However the name really stems from the fact that fake flies are used as bait. As the fisherman reels in the line the fish think they flies they see are alive and this is what lures them in.
Ice fishing takes place in the colder areas of the world including Alaska and Minnesota. An area of the ice is cut away so that they fishing line can be placed into it. Some ice fishing locations feature small huts on the ice that you can rent in order to have some shelter from the cold and wind. These are just a couple of examples of the many types of fishing
